Incorporated in 1960, Zenith Birla commenced commercial production in 1962, to emerge as the first group company to meet export objectives.

Zenith Birla India Limited is a multi-product organization manufacturing a wide range of products, under the divisions of Steel Pipes and Indian Tools Manufacturers (HSS Cutting Tools). The Company started with manufacturing Steel Pipes and pioneered the industry's export endeavors with the largest export of galvanized steel pipes from India for many years. Zenith Birla has been honored by the Government of India with many awards for outstanding export performance and has been conferred with the status of Export house.

Zenith has several plants in Khopoli, Tarapur, Nasik, Aurangabad and Khamgaon. Catering to the growing demand for pipes in the Middle East, Zenith Middle East FZE was set up in Dubai. Zenith (USA) Inc., incorporated in 1970 is a general trader of Steel pipes and other products. Importing from India and marketing them to various customers throughout the United States.

Zenith Steel Pipes:

Zenith Steel Pipes is a leading Indian manufacturer of Steel pipes, employing the latest manufacturing technologies. Today Zenith specializes in a wide range of black and galvanized pipes. International product quality standards and export dominance have helped Zenith to endure leadership in agriculture, irrigation, infrastructure, transmission, telecommunications and industrial sectors.

Indian Tool Manufacturers:

Indian Tool Manufacturers, incorporated in 1937, is synonymous with high quality HSS Tools including Center drills, Masonry drills, Milling cutters, Reamers, Tapes, Jobbers and Tool bits.

Products

Zenith has an installed annual manufacturing capacity of 1,20,000 MT of pipes, in range of 1/2" to 8" in diameter covered under different IS standards viz IS: 1239, IS: 3589, IS: 9295, IS : 4923, IS : 1978, IS : 1161. Pipes in various international specifications eg. BS 1387, ASTM A53, ASTM A500 for Square & Rectangular Hollows, BS 1139, BS 879, BS 6363 and BS 1775 for Structural Tubes are in regular production due to heavy & continuous export demand. Zenith also manufactures pipes to DIN, ASTM, GOST and BIS specifications and also those equivalent to API 5 L Grade specifications. Zenith's Mill No.1 is capable of manufacturing pipes from 1/2" (15 mm) to 3" (80mm) dia and also square section of 25x25 upto 63x63 and rectangular section from 60x40 and 80x40. Mill No.2 is capable of manufacturing pipes from 3" to 8" and 80mm x 80mm to 150mm x 150mm (Square and Rectangular Hollow Sections). The customer segment includes users of Steel pipes for carrying Water and Gas; for Boilers, Heat Exchangers, Submersible pumps (even cut ot 3 meter lengths); and also for Borewell, Caing Pipes, Scaffoldings, Conveyor Idlers, Structural Tubes (Tubular, Square & Rectangular Pipes), Drill Rod Pipes etc., used in the fields such as Agriculture and Irrigation. The customer segment also extends to various Industrial Sectors such as Automobiles (including Chasis manufacturing), Housing, Furniture, Structurals, Container Making Railway Electrification, Electric poles, Telecommunication, Power Stations, Handling Equipment, Electrostatic Precipitators etc. Square & Rectangular Hollow Sections manufactured by Zenith are widely used to replace conventional sections of higher weight such as beams, angles and channels. These sections have higher load-bearing capacity at lower costs and have better aesthetic appeal in many cases. Zenith tubular pipes are also used as successful substitute for seamless pipes.
