Established in collaboration with Oswald Forst
Gmbh, Germany, Dagger Forst set up the first plant
at Thane in 1965 for the manufacture of Broaches.
Further demand led to additional capacities at
Aurangabad and one more unit to manufacture Spline
Gauges was set up in collaboration with W. Forst,
England. Later, in collaboration with Klingelnberg
Sohne, Germany, the company acquired a Gear
Cutting tool manufacturing unit. In addition,
Samputensili SpA of Italy, provides technical
expertise to manufacture Shaving Cutters through a
technical & financial collaboration.
Today, with a major market share, the company is
the first choice of major Auto-ancillary OEMs in
India, especially for development projects. In the
international arena the company is fast emerging
as a global player, with exports to Germany, USA,
Europe, UK, Italy, France, Indonesia, Korea,
Taiwan, Australia, South Africa, Iran etc.
