GENERAL CHARITIES

In addition to the aforesaid activities, general charities by way of Donation mainly for Medical & Educational help are also being undertaken by the various trusts. For this purpose we have 9 other trusts.

SHREE RAM MANDIR SOCIETY

This Trust runs and maintains a Temple at Nasik Road for worship of Lord Rama, Lord Shiva & Lord Hanuman.

PASHURAKSHAK MANDAL TRUST

This Trust is situated at Yeoor Village at Thane where about 50 cows are maintained by this trust.

VEDANT CHARITABLE DISPENSARY

This dispensary is being run and managed by Sunanda Medical Institution at Delhi and it was shifted to Dehradun in 2005. Mainly it provides treatment to outdoor patients from Slum areas in the City.

JAPANESE BUDH MANDIR TRUST

This trust maintains a Mandir for Worship of Lord Budha since 1941. The temple is situated at Worli, Mumbai.

Smt. Shardadevi Birla Dharmasala, Udipi (Karnataka) - ASHOK CHARITY TRUST

The Trust has constructed one Dharmasala consisting of 27 Rooms at Udipi in 1973 which is being run by local Devasthanam at Udipi, Karnataka. This also provides accommodation to the pilgrims.

Smt.Gopi Birla Guest House, Dwarka(Guj.) - ASHOK CHARITY TRUST

This is on Seashore providing accommodation to Pilgrims who come for Darshan at one of the four main religious places for Hindus.

Ashok Vatika, Sonprayag - ASHOK CHARITY TRUST

This is meant for temporary stay of pilgrims who are coming for Darshan of Holy Shrine Lord Shiva at Kedarnath.

Birla Arogya Mandir at Nasik - BIRLA CHARITY TRUST

This property consists of 6 independent Blocks. Each block comprises 2 Bed Rooms and Kitchen, Dining Room, WC block etc.

Brahmanwadi, C.P. Tank, Mumbai - BIRLA CHARITY TRUST

This is ground plus 3 storey Bldg. where Ground Floor is used for Ayurvedic Dispensary being managed and run by Yash Society.

Birla Dharmasala at Fanaswadi, Mumbai - BIRLA CHARITY TRUST

Accommodation to visitors to the City mainly on medical ground is provided at a very nominal charge.
